Frequently asked questions

Who hosts WesWiki?

WesWiki is hosted by phpwebhosting.com. Its domain name is registered through PowerPipe.

Who pays for it all?

WesWiki isn't free, and as of now Vernon is footing the bill after failing to get adequate funding. As long as he heads WesWiki, it won't be supported by ads. If you're interested in supporting WesWiki, or know someone who might be, e-mail him.

Is this Wikipedia, or does Wikipedia host WesWiki?

WesWiki isn't affiliated with Wikipedia. It does, however, run the same software, MediaWiki. If you've used Wikipedia, you'll feel right at home.

Can I help in any way?

Yes! Other than contributing to articles, WesWiki can always use more help. If you have any special skills, feel free to e-mail Vernon. Useful skills might include vector illustration (to make the site more friendly), investigative reporting (for exclusive content), and photography.
